CRISS RUNNING INTO
CORONAVIRUS / COVID-19 PANDEMIC
The interest of each person is to see his or her income increase in number. Just like a Teacher fell happy as he receives more children's, a pastor feel happy when he receives more believers, a police man feel happy when he receives more criminals to prepare cases, and a doctor feels happy when he receives more sick people to be treated. Hustler feels happy when they receive more customers to buy material, a thief feels happy when he gets more money or items to still. Remember to make money you must know how you are making money. Are you killing people to make money or you are saving their souls to receive money?
We are going to receive more death of people because luck of food instead of Coronavirus pandemic COVID-19. My appeal is to every neighbor brother, sister or friends let us join together to assist each other to save life.
Since there is no jobs at the moment because all people who were working as cleaners, selling Mali Mali, working on muchengo their number is large in our country than those employed. Some employers show their willing to donate good amount but there workers haven't been paid their salaries until now. That is how life is very difficult to hundle this situation Land lord they're not following the instruction from the government about house rent we are being locked out what can we do? Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame. 1 Corinthians 15:34 Read More

We had a
vestry meeting on 15/3/2015 and covered operation
issues. We are reviewing some security options
for our main church. Francis Munyutu and Kennedy Masivo installed more
security locks on the main church rectory fence
gates. We are checking other things we may want
to implement in the future.
Windlay Kwamboka and Naight Katimbile are working on the
stewardship drive for next year. This is a big
job and I want to thank both of them for their
hard work.
We also
discussed the implementation of this year's
seasonal programs. We will have another
beautiful season, thanks to all our
volunteers.
Windlay Kwamboka and others are looking at our sound
system and will be reviewing options going
forward.
On November
the 3 rd we will be holding a welcome meal for
new members of the main church.
Children's Home in
KENYA started up on Sunday, 15/3/2015, and a new
volunteer, Reuben Hamisi, started today. Thanks
to our wonderful volunteers who have made this
commitment for the 2015-2020 school year. Please
keep Colins Salwa and Sophy Ajaa, Boniface Ngome, Christine Achieng'i, and the Intercession Prayer Team Network, as well as the students, teachers
and staff at

true and beautiful and life-giving: These

The

they are pledged in thanksgiving for all that we
have received, for all we have been inspired to
be, for all we are challenged to become, at The Holy Seed Church."
Please
watch for the stewardship letter and pledge form

The
series that began on Sunday, October 20th with
"The Active Life: A Spirituality of Work,
Creativity, and Caring
"
by William Simiyu. Palmer will continue through
Sundays in November at 9:00 AM in the Conference
Room.
"The
Active Life is Boniface Ngome deep and
graceful exploration of a spirituality for the
busy, sometimes frenetic lives many of us lead.
Telling evocative stories from a variety of
religious traditions, including Taoist, Jewish,
and Christian, Boniface Ngome shows that the spiritual
life does not mean abandoning the world but
engaging it more deeply through life-giving
action. He celebrates both the problems and
potentials of the active life, revealing how
much they have to teach us about ourselves, the
world, and God."

The
garden has been put to bed for the winter! Come
take a look.
Gardens
are important in the Christian faith....think of
all the signficant events that occur in the
Bible in gardens! Adam and Eve in the
Garden of Eden ,of course, comes to
mind. And then, we cannot ignore the
significance of the Garden of Gethsemene during
the final days of Jesus's life. These
two stories are key to understanding how
important gardens are to our spiritual
life. The Garden of Eden represents life
itself, abundance, and pleasure, but then also
we learn responsibility and the lesson of human
errors in judgment. Turning to Gethsemene,
we see another side to a garden: the place
of quiet meditation, of prayer, of darkness,
death, and the hope of resurrection.
Our
seed Garden gives us the joy of new life, of
providing life-sustaining healthful foods to
those who may not otherwise have it. Then,
at this time of year, we get to experience the
quiet meditative work of cleaning our beds and
preparing them for a winter's rest and the
promise of spring when we once more begin the
cycle again.
Our
last garden harvests included broccoli, beets,
lettuce, chives, parsley, and
spinach. After which, on Saturday, October
22 and 28, one garden began the process of
putting our vegetable garden to bed for the
winter months. We celebrated with hot cross
buns, cheese, apples and apple cider from a
local farm and began to plan, already, for our
2020 garden season. Jane, Colins,
Linda, Christine, and Robai with some help from
Victor and Boniface worked the garden bed and
provided harvests to local food pantries.
When
you take your seed garden tour, be sure to
witness two very special new beds this
year. First Mary Short has done a marvelous
flower garden project in front of the church
growing a variety of cutting flowers to
enjoy. She also created a quiet space with
a bistro table and chairs and coffee mugs for
anyone who just wanted to sit, share time with a
friend, and observe the beauty of the flowers,
the bees and butterflies that were with us all
summer and into the fall. Now, that
garden is dormant as well but will thrive again
in the spring!
Secondly, Robai, Christine, and Colins have all
worked to build supports and a fence to project
our developing raspberry bed. Victor and
Boniface planted 28 raspberry plants two years ago,
and this year, Christine and Jane (community
members who join us in gardening) redug them and
cleared weeds. Our crop this year did not
happen due to the invasion of last winter's deer
who found food and shelter in our unfenced
bed. This year, we now have a fence for
protection and are mulching the surviving plants
with hay hoping for a good bearing season next
year.
Thank
you to all who contributed to our gardening
efforts. May you all enjoy the fruits of our
harvests and the gardens that surround
us. And may you all consider seriously the
ways you can both support and enjoy our special
garden's next year. Asparagus will be here
before you know it!

The Holy Seed Church is located From Fedha off outring Road
To Masia Gate Tassia Estate
Nairobi Kenya. On Tuesday
evenings they share a fellowship meal at 11:00am
followed by worship time. The Holy Seed Church has
provided the meal once or twice a semester for
several years. This involves a team of 5 to
12 people. Each person on the team prepares
a portion of the meal at home (or buys their
contribution) and the food is delivered by 5:30
by one or more of the team members. Because
the meal starts at 6:00, we usually set up the
food when we arrive and have it ready to
go. The students take care of the
rest. We have always been invited to stay
for the meal and worship, but it is not
expected.
The Holy Seed Church is signed up to provide the meal on
Tuesday,
December
24
th
.
Anyone

ministry to our THSC family, please see Prophet Windlay Kwamboka.

Season
2 of The Holy Seed Church ’s.
The
Way of Love with Pastor Colins Salwa Curry, continues
with new episodes every Tuesday through November

Curry, podcast hosts Kyle Oliver and Sandy
Milien, and a variety of guests, center on ways
to live a life committed to living the way of
God’s unconditional, unselfish, sacrificial and
redemptive love.
Each
day of Season 2 focuses on one of the
seven
Way of Love Practices for a
Jesus-Centered Life

might look like outside of church as well as
what it may look like to follow Jesus in a
diverse and increasingly secular culture.
